Today’s release adds two features built for the moments when willpower alone isn’t enough, plus a faster, cleaner interface. Here’s everything new.

🔒 Locked Mode

We all know the move: you get distracted, and you disable your own blocker “just this once.” Locked Mode removes that option.

Start a focus session, lock it, and you can’t quit until the timer runs out — there’s no early exit. For extra accountability, you can add a partner’s email: if you do unlock a protected session early, they get notified. Real stakes make focus real.

⏳ Daily time budgets

Sometimes you don’t want to ban a site entirely — you just want to stop the two-hour rabbit holes. Daily time budgets let you give any site a per-day limit. Thirty minutes of news, fifteen minutes of social media, and then it’s blocked for the rest of the day. You decide the dose.

Block lists now live in their own dedicated tab, so adding sites and switching between lists is quicker than ever. We also refreshed the whole interface and expanded language support — SiteBlocker is now available in 8 languages.
